With the holidays fast approaching us I have been taking some time cruising the Internet for some gift ideas and suggestions in order to get a jump on my Christmas shopping list. This year I am looking at diamond necklaces, my mother has always wanted a diamond necklace and by God this year I am going to get her one, come hell or high water. I’m not an expert on diamonds, mind you, but I have done some research on them and feel pretty confident that I can find the perfect diamond necklace in time to present it to her on Christmas morning.

Backsplash Issues

It amazes me that the majority of homes that I have the opportunity to visit do not have a backsplash installed behind the kitchen sink, especially the older homes that I see. I can’t imagine not having my backsplash tile in my kitchen, so much water get splashed from the faucet that everything would get soaking wet and the damage would be tremendous, not to mention the mold that could possibly grow from all of the moisture. That would be disastrous considering how allergic I am to mold. I found that out the hard way and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

My mother had a piece of see through plastic installed on the wall behind her kitchen sink and her stove in order to protect the paint and the wallpaper in her kitchen. It didn’t look all that great but it did the trick all right. Now a days there are a lot of choices for backsplash issues for home owners to pick from such as the ones found at Caayu.com. The Millionaire Matchmaker is an interesting show to watch sometimes,the Bravo Channel is not something that I generally would watch but we all have our moments right? That Patti Stanger is one tough nut, but some how she has got a knack for realizing what kind of people would get a long with each other and she makes a pretty penny out of doing just that with all of the Millionaires that flock to her looking for love.

On last night’s episode one of the millionaires really went first class on his first date of choice.  He took the time and money that it takes to charter a private jet to Paris where they ate dinner at a 1st rate French Restaurant that his date expressed an interest in during the social hour that proceeds the actually date.  They made a good couple that I thought might have a chance at a long term relationship, so I was surprised at the end of the show that they never went out again. Just show to go ya, one never knows when it comes to love.

It amazes me how popular the wii guitar has become and the variety of age groups that are utilizing it so many various ways. From kids probably 3 and up – all the way up to the senior citizens that are enjoying it as well. I know a few folks that own on and one of the favorite activities of the majority of people that I know is playing the wii guitar and singing along with all the great tunes that they have loaded in their system.
