With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I’ve been looking for a unique gift to give to my mother on that day since I know my Dad will give her the same old box of chocolates that he gets from Walmart each year. I found a great site that has some pretty interesting varieties of cupcakes, they have something for everyone and I think I will send off for their cupcake sampler since variety is the spice of life and trying a variety is always a fun way to find your favorite(s).

I always buy my mother something on Valentine’s Day, it’s always best to keep on her good side.

Free Shipping is a big deal when ordering products from catalogues off and online. This can add up to some real savings and who isn’t trying to save a buck here and there these days. After reading the ampeg portaflex review that I found online and doing a bit of research I’ve decided to go ahead and order it for my brother who really wanted a new bass amp head for Christmas but due to be laying off last year he didn’t get it.

His birthday is in February and I only have a short amount of time to come up with something and this sounds like a good deal to me. He is a good guy and if he didn’t have his music I don’t know what he would do at this point.

If I do finally decide to get back into the flea market business and it works well, I’m going to be looking at buying a van to haul the merchandise to the flea market. My sister has been telling me for many years that she has always wanted me to buy one of the mini vans that were so popular a few years back. But now that all of her children are grown, I’m not so sure a minivan would do the trick for me with my needs for a flea market vehicle. I think that with the family situation the way it is now, I just might be happy with something more like the Toyota Highlander or a Saturn Vue than a mini-van. They both seem like a good family car.

Besides buying a new vehicle I would like to invest in some nice logo mats to use, I think that they would be a nice touch for my customers to stand on while getting my name out. A nice logo canopy to use when outside and in wet weather would be a good choice as well. If I could count on the flea markets inside I would even consider purchasing some trade show carpet, I’ve seen some real nice ones being used out there, but there are no guarentees from what I’ve heard in the flea market business.

There really isn’t many things in life better than a good cigar. I was never into smoking cigarettes, but a good cigar and a cold beer in front of my big screen TV with a football game on is about as close to heaven as I’ll ever get, I imagine. So I am always on the look out for cheap cao cigars, looks like I found a great deal at www.famous-smoke.com and have placed an order, hope I get them before the Super Bowl gets here!

 

In Charge Of The Groomsmen Gifts

Much of the Christmas dinner conversation this afternoon was concerning the up and coming wedding of my brother, scheduled for March 2nd of 2011. I have been asked to come up with ideas for the groomsmen gifts for my brother to present to the five selected groomsmen on that special day. That shouldn’t be a problem, I feel lucky that I haven’t been assigned any of the other numerous tasks that go along with pulling off a large wedding as they are planning.
