Online Trading

My brother-in-law, Mike, is getting pretty good with this Online Trading that he started dabbling in last year right around election time. His brother-in-law is a well established Online Broker and has been teaching him some tricks of the Stock Trading business and getting him up to speed.

The economy is forcing a lot of us to look into options that we normally wouldn’t even consider. Mike doesn’t seem to be the type of guy that would be into IRA Accounts and Mobile Trading, much less doing any good at it, but life is full of surprises. I’m glad for him because he does have a large family that needs tending to and they (much like everyone else) are pinching pennies and just trying to keep the roof over their heads, food on the table and soon there will be the need for heat with winter right around the corner.

Sinbad

The comic known as Sinbad is back and still funnier than hell. I just watched his stand up on The Comedy Channel and man he is good at what he does. I’m glad that he is making a come back. If any of you get a chance to watch him on The Comedy Channel I would urge to watch it and join me in laughing my ass off.

Girl Games, The Time Has Come

I remember when my niece was around 4 years old and started playing video games. It became apparent that there was a limited selection of girl games that would keep the female population happily paying good money to play games targeted just for them. We heard talk that these businesses were becoming aware of the situation and took action. They still have a ways to go but they have come a long way.

I stumbled across this site the other evening, a site chock full of girl games, easygirlgames.com thought it was pretty cool so I shot the link to her in hopes that she will find some entertainment out of some of the large variety of girl games that they have to offer. She spends a good amount of time online, like most of us do, she may all ready know of the site but what the heck, I try.

My Calculator Is My Best Friend

It is so strange to see how my nephew, Patrick, has grown and matured through out the years. Hard to believe that he will be graduating from high school next year and will be going to college on from there. He is a good kid and I think that he will go far in this world and that he will contribute to society in many positive ways.

He is way past the point that I can be of any help with much of his school work and projects as I was when he was younger. We live so close to each other that we spent a lot of time together and I seemed to come over a lot of the times when he was working on his school work. I’ve never been all that much help in the math area though. Numbers and I just don’t get along all that well, I gotten used to it and always have a calculator close at hand for when I need it.

Patrick is now well into Equivalent fractions and Prime Factorization, which are totally above my head. I’m still trying to figure out what a Probability calculator is all about. Thank goodness for online tutoring, it has saved his butt on more than one occasion. Wish that we had the Internet when I was struggling with school.

Live Drafts Vs. Online Drafts In Fantasy Football

Guest post written by my buddy Judy Guerrero

Is it better to have a live draft or an online draft in fantasy football? Back in the day when fantasy football first started, online drafts were not even an option. People who were dedicated to their league would make it to a live draft no matter what. It wasn’t unheard of for people to drive cross-state or fly in from across the country. Just because someone moved didn’t mean they would give up on their league. On the other hand, it would often cost them a bundle. They would be paying more in traveling expenses than what they would win if they won the championship. They didn’t care, though. It was about the recognition, not the money.

Luckily, these days online drafts are an option. Almost every league logs-on to their satellite internet in Idaho in late August or early September for their draft. This is a much anticipated event, especially since almost everyone in the league completed numerous mock drafts leading up to the real event. In addition to convenience, there are also many other advantages to having your draft online using satellite internet service OK. One is that if you want to go to the bathroom, go right ahead. Two, you don’t have to record everyone’s pick by hand; the computer will do this for you. Three, the time limit will be enforced by the computer, which speeds up the draft without the commissioner having to look like a jerk.

Online drafts win by a landslide
