Black Mold is a nasty issue

I have heard such horror stories about the issues associated with black mold and was surprised to find that I am in need of a service that provides black mold removal.

I was doing some cleaning in my master bath room when I noticed in the closet a nasty stain that wasn’t wanting to come clean and got a better look at it and decided to give my Dad a call for his advise. From the description that I gave him, he told me that he thought it sounded like this nasty black mold that I’ve heard so much about these past years.

Not knowing anyone in this particular business to call on, I decided to turn to the Internet and try to locate a company to come take a look see about the situation, and put my mind at ease.

Leg wear and other such items online

Now that Christmas is coming in a month, I am receiving information concerning people’s wish lists and I’m glad that I have gotten into the habit of using the Internet for most of my shopping needs.

One lady friend of mine is totally into leg wear and attire, socks, leg warmers, tights, leggings and the like, so it is a good thing that I have gotten used to doing most of my shopping by using the Internet as much as I have, because I have found a great web-site called Hue.com that I’m going to use for her present purchases this year.

They seem to have a unique selection of leg wear, so I am going to go out on a limb and order a few things, taking a shot in the dark, so to speak and also provide her with a gift card from their site so that she can pick a few things out herself also, as I really am not all that educated and/or familiar with such items and I’m sure she would have a grand time browsing the site for some goodies that she comes across on her own. They also have other items for sale, so she doesn’t have to go for just the leg wear, she can order anything that she likes, what ever turns her on and floats her boat, as far as I’m concerned.

Joe the Plumber

According to my Verizon Online News Section:

By JOHN SEEWER

TOLEDO, Ohio - “An agency director improperly used state computers to find personal information on “Joe the Plumber,” a government watchdog said in a report released Thursday. There was no legitimate business purpose for the head of Ohio’s Department of Job and Family Services to order staff to look up the records, Inspector General Tom Charles said.

Investigators weren’t able to determine whether the searches were politically motivated, the report said.”

Computers, love them or leave them! Thoughts to ponder for the evening.

Ninjutsu Lessons - a good and positive move for my niece

My brother and his wife have gotten my favorite niece into taking Ninjutsu lessons and they tell me that she is enjoying it immensely and shows promise in keeping an interest in this Japanese type of Martial Arts. She has only been taking these lessons for a little over 2 months and has just last night earned her green belt and can finally put away the bright white belt that all beginners are keenly aware of the “newbie” status that it implies.

I have taken the time and looked on the Internet and found a web-site that specializes in Martial Arts Equipment and have found a book that speaks of The Ninjutsu: History and Tradition, that I am thinking of ordering for her as one of her several Christmas presents that I will take over to her this year. She is an awesome kid and I adore spoiling her at every chance that I get. She does like to read, thank goodness, because so many kids these days hate even the idea of picking up a book, so I feel comfortable in giving her some type of book or two every Christmas, along with other items that she has on the top of her Christmas wish list each and every year, and she always counts on that tradition between the two of us since her very first Christmas experience.

Mom needs just a bit of color, or so she thinks

I had to laugh, just a bit, when my Dad informed me that my mother’s Christmas wish list includes a Sun Bed this year, I’m sorry but I just can’t imagine my mother, who is in her late 70’s, laying butt naked in a Home Tanning Bed, in an effort to get a tan, with no tan lines, on her pale and wrinkled skin. She has always been light skinned and envious of my fathers dark skin tone (must be the Native American in him) and has now found a way to possibly get some much needed (according to her alone) color added to her complexion.

Dad is busy these days searching the Internet for his holiday shopping needs and so far has done a good job with several purchases, made with good savings that he can brag about to us all.
