Australian Broadband
Our friends down under in Australia also have the option, much as we do here in the United States, to receive broadband satellite service for a reasonable cost. At Harboursat.com.au they have all the information needed to learn about their broadband satellite company, which I found very interesting and educational. They have a great website that offers a great insight to what they have to offer our friends down under, with price guides, and a 7 days a week help desk available to their customers. And don’t require any contracts, with the capability to apply right online, with just two easy steps. And are 100% Australian owned for all their fellow countrymen and women alike, even out in the wide country area that Australia is known for.
I love how the Internet brings the entire world and all things that are available and out there for other countries. The easiest sites to browse through and read are from the U.K. and Australia, due to the languages that we share that is so very similar. Even though there are a few variables in their languages, I can pretty much muddle through them without a struggle. With countries that speak a totally different dialect, the Google translator certainly comes in handy, but can be time consuming and not 100% accurate unfortunately.
Cell phone providers, what is out there these days?
My contract with my current cell phone provider, which happens to be Verizon, will be up come February and I’m anxious to start looking around to see if I could get a better package and a better deal with any other providers that are out there for use. I don’t really have any complaints with Verizon, I just want to see if a change would be a good idea or not and having the Internet will make it less of a challenge to deal with, I’m sure that there are plenty of web-sites out there that will come in handy for my comparison usage.
Mom needs just a bit of color, or so she thinks
I had to laugh, just a bit, when my Dad informed me that my mother’s Christmas wish list includes a Sun Bed this year, I’m sorry but I just can’t imagine my mother, who is in her late 70’s, laying butt naked in a Home Tanning Bed, in an effort to get a tan, with no tan lines, on her pale and wrinkled skin. She has always been light skinned and envious of my fathers dark skin tone (must be the Native American in him) and has now found a way to possibly get some much needed (according to her alone) color added to her complexion.
Dad is busy these days searching the Internet for his holiday shopping needs and so far has done a good job with several purchases, made with good savings that he can brag about to us all.
Engines galore, used, new or remanufactured online
Having access to the Internet has opened up so many doors in so many ways, and one good way is to find good deals by companies that are “Open the the Public” that we normally would not have any way to find anything like these types of deals.
My Dad has been looking into purchasing a used engine to put into his classic 1967 Mustang that he spends his free time tinkering with through out these past years. He has found a company that offers new engines, used engines and remanufactured engines - at a savings of up to 67%, that is a nice chunk of change to save, money that he could spend on something else for his beloved Mustang.
Dad has spent a good amount of time doing his research, started out by calling around to different dealers, when I urged him to take advantage of having the Internet, with all of that good information right at his finger tips, which saves us all a tremendous amount of time and is so less frustrating, unless your PC or your connection is giving you problems. And ever since my suggestion was made he has really put a lot of time and effort into his search.
So you may want to go to GotEngines.com and see if there is something that floats your boat in the same way as my Dad has, so to speak! They have a toll free phone number that you can call or contact them online, either way will work.
