The Cup Cake Dog

I try and watch “It’s Me or The Dog” on the Animal Planet Channel. It’s too bad that it isn’t on during the evening hours when more people can enjoy it. I have seen the episode with the cup cake dog and just stumbled across it on YouTube.com and wanted to share it here.

Enjoy:

Track Meets are a Family Affair

Thanks to Darwin Barton

My nephew recently joined a track team with other kids his age. My sister and I like to walk around the track as the kids practice. It is a great way to get some exercise in and be involved and nearby as he improves his track skills. It is a real family affair during actual track meets because the entire family comes by to support him and my younger cousins as they compete in tournaments. Before we leave, we make sure to pack the cooler and set the alarm system. We also pack large umbrellas to provide shade during sunny days.

Although this is my nephew’s first time being in track, it is not the first year that we’ve had other children in our family. Therefore, going to track meets as a family is a regular occurrence in our family. Watching the kids in our family participate in track tournaments is exciting. Although they never come in first, we are proud of them nonetheless. It is a real blast to cheer them on and congratulate them, no matter what place they come in. The best thing about the kids playing track is that they can visit us between their individual competitions because there are so many teams out there competing. We are able to talk with them, encourage them and support them during their big day.

All The Wrinkled Ladies

YouTube is a wonderful website. Hard to believe that it has only been around for less than 5 years. I find myself logging onto my account each and every day and finding or listening to something entertaining. This take off of “All The Single Ladies” is funny as hell. Wanted to post it here.

Events Made Easier

I must have been 16 or 17, because I was old enough to drive, but I certainly didn’t know squat about buying concert tickets. I had been to numerous concerts in the past all over the area, but had never been responsible for the purchasing of the tickets and had no clue to all of the decisions and issues involved in trying to get a good seat within a reasonably priced ticket.

I think it was Alice Cooper that was coming to town and I drove down to the mall where there used to be a Hecht’s Store that sold event tickets in the basement, what a mess that was. And what a bunch miserable human beings all crammed into this hot, smelly, over crowded and unventilated basement (smoking was still permitted in this shopping center) area that reminded me of a race track and this area being where the bookies set up, take the bets and pay off the winners. It wasn’t a pleasant experience but I did get some decent seats and Alice Cooper was a riot!

Now a days you can go right online and purchase all types of event tickets. sports, concert, theatre, dancing, etc….They offer tickets for all kinds of budgets and they Fed Ex every ticket. Radio City Music Hall Tickets, HONDA CENTER TICKETS, FENWAY PARK TICKETS, DODGER STADIUM TICKETS, AIR CANADA CENTRE TICKETS or even Alpine Valley Tickets with seating charts available for most events so you can see where you are going to sit when you make your purchase.

Ship Shape

Most of my friends belong to a gym and have been for many years. I on the other hand don’t have any use for a gym membership other than it being a good place to look and admire many fine looking women that are working out in those skimpy workout clothes, hot and sweaty, but that’s another story to be told.

I don’t mind working out it’s just that I don’t enjoy going to a public (or private) gym for some reason. I do exercise almost on a daily basis. Being in the service got me in good shape back in my 20’s and they also taught me how to keep my body in good shape, which I do take pride in doing some extreme workouts, just at home or around the neighborhood and the park when I go out walking or jogging. I prefer walking, running raises people’s attention and I like to basically blend in and stay on the cuff.

My niece is looking into getting into fitness and has a birthday coming up. I’ve been doing some research online and found extremebodyworkout.com which has some good information and products for review. I’m thinking on ordering her their turbo jam the whole package. The one with the big blue ball, you know that workout ball that has become so popular to work out and it comes in various colors and sizes. They accept PayPal for payment so that is a big plus for me and is a good selling tool for online shoppers like myself.
