I don’t have many things that come each day to my email’s inbox, but I did sign up for the Online Slag Dictionary to send me their “Slang” word for the day. It’s educational and entertaining as hell. Today’s word is Joe Schmoe, which is a noun and the definition is: used as a stand-in name used to represent the everyman. Always wondered how to spell that guys last name!
We have all been seeing more and more folks turning towards the medical field. They are assured that there will always be a need for medical assistance, so it is a very safe field to get into and stay in for the long run. Many people are going back to school in order to further their education for financial reasons that are completely due to the economic mess that our lovely government has gotten us all into and deep.
To hear the news telling us that the unemployment rate has dropped and that so many jobs have been opening up in many fields that were really hurting from this crisis, you would think that everyone would be so much better off. Not the case, what a joke, and not a funny one. But there is absolutely no one that I know or am related to could tell any positive difference in their lives. In fact the stories are getting worse and worse from what I’m hearing.
Anyway, the one good thing about more medical jobs being offered is the amount of pretty nurses that I get to see around the part of town that the hospital and medical offices are mainly located in. Seeing pretty nurses in their pretty uniforms get put a smile on this guy’s face that will possibly last for almost an hour. There is just something about a woman in a nurse’s uniform that just floats my boat, much like the a woman likes to see a man in uniform.
I dated a woman not too long ago that always turned me on when she can over straight from work in her nursing scrubs. And there was a nice looking broad that a few houses down that looked pretty darned good walking to the bus each morning and back again each evening that looked hot in her nursing uniform. Always a pleasant site for these tired old brown eyes. I haven’t seen her a while, don’t know if she is still living there or if she found a new job, or possibly she got a new car for Christmas and she no longer needs to ride the bus.
There was an awesome electronics show held in Las Vegas a few days ago. CES has the best to offer in today’s newest technology and gadgets. One year I’d love to be able to attend one of CES’s events. You just never know what you will find in an area as big as 35 football fields filled to the brim with technology. Overwhelming comes to mind with something that big, but I think I could handle it for a day.
All most everything has changed since the Internet has come along with more and more people gaining access to the World Wide Web these days. I’m not sure what I’d do if I didn’t have my laptop hooked up each day for all kinds of reasons, personal and business alike. And I don’t think I’m much different than most people.
Today’s students have so much at their fingertips with the computers that most of them have for their educational and entertainment needs and wants. The Internet can bring tutoring to any student in just about any subject of their choosing. The need to find someone in your neighborhood and one that you can afford and that can fit into your busy schedules for Algebra 1 or Geometry Help tutoring, for example, is becoming more obsolete.

I’ve been waiting to watch the newest version of The Vice Guide To Everything on MTV. I’ve heard that they are going to touch on the drug war issue that has taken the lives of over 30,000 people in the last couple of years. That is more people than have been killed in the war that we are participating in over in the deserts.
