Working On A Loaner

I’ve been experiencing some computer and Internet issues the past couple of weeks, so I ended up taking my laptop in for service. I’m not sure if I have some type of virus or what but I’m hoping that after all of the hassle of having to take it in and the money that I’m paying to have it serviced that it gets back to it’s normal state and soon.

In the mean time I do have a loaner laptop that they have provided me with to use in the mean time. It’s taking a bit of getting used to but it is getting me around to where I need to be while waiting for mine to get back home.

My favorite teen show would have to be Everybody Hates Chris. It is on every night before bedtime. I watch it almost every night on direct tv california. This show is based on the life of the comedian and actor Chris Rock. The show takes place back in the 1970′s. The story is about Chris and his brother Drew growing up. They live in a bad neighborhood. The father works two jobs and they still do not have very much money. Chris is narrating the show. He gets beat up by bullies in school all of the time. He is always in trouble with the teacher. He has a job at a grocery store and does not get paid very much. Chris is always trying to get dates with girls. He goes out on a few dates, but most girls stand him up or fall for his brother. He has the worst luck of anyone I have ever seen. He tries to do things right and it always ends up messing up. That’s why it is called Everybody Hates Chris. He only has one friend and nothing goes right for him. This show is really funny, and based on a true story. It is amazing how someone came from living like that and now is a star.

We are all ready seeing signs of Christmas in some of the retail stores around town. My goodness, the last day of summer was just a day or so ago and they have started pushing Christmas on us! It keeps getting earlier and earlier each year. Sooner or later Christmas will be here all year round.

A good friend of mine is struggling with his mortgage, like so many people are doing these past couple of years. He and his wife both lost their good paying jobs a while back and things have gone down hill, quick like. She has managed to find a part time job, but he is still looking and getting very discouraged in the process.

We have all heard about the Fair Home Loan program that President Obama has put into place but it can be a challenge to figure out all of the in’s and out’s of the whole thing. So I found a great website that gives good quality information in plain simple language and have sent him the link to it in hopes that it might encourage him to check into it.
