Late Fees
Charge cards are a real pain in the rear these days. I miss placed one of my bills this month and just found it only to discover that it is late. I called and tried to get them to not charge me the late fee, since it was only one day late. They were not very understanding and I’m now stuck with a $25 late fee, sigh….
Step-by-Step
I come from a family full of musicians. I grew up in a house that was always filled with music. The holidays were the best of times, the whole family would get together and celebrate with good food and live music. It’s most unfortunate that when my grandfather passed away the whole family basically fell apart and the holidays were never the same. My grandmother died from a broken heart just a few short years later along with several other family members that used to fill the place up with their wonderful musical talents.
I never got to learn to play much of anything, heck I can hardly read music much less play it. But I think the time has come for me to give it a try. I’ve found a website at Sightreadingtips.com that offers sight reading music exercises for folks like me that know the basics but are struggling with weak music reading abilities. They say that mastering piano sight reading is one of the most challenging tasks that most piano players come across, so I am going to give it a try.
I have my grandfather’s piano here at my place, basically collecting dust throughout the years. Every now and then I get on it and give it a try and just get frustrated. I think that if I learn how to read the music that I would manage to do a bit better, maybe even find some one that can help me along. Some thing to contemplate.
Dancing With The Stars
I do enjoy watching Dancing with the Stars. A good dance now and then is good for the soul and there is plenty of talent out there for us to enjoy. America’s Got Talent is another show that I try and catch when I can. Not many reality shows that stand out, but these two are a real treat!
A New & Improved IBM as400 Needed at Work
We have been experiencing some computer hassles with our work stations. This has been going on for some time and word is that they are looking into getting a new IBM as400 system before the end of the year. We’ve been hearing about budget cut backs and gripes that a new system wasn’t put into the budget for several years so it will be a miracle to witness this event.
Having a well working computer system is a must in any business. In a world that has tried so hard to become a paperless world we are relying more and more on our computers each and every day. Even if they get a good refurbished one from a company such as the ones offered at Perfdata.com would make every one’s day a better and much brighter one for us all.
At least we have a good tech support team that has a sense of humor and the patience of the saints above. If it were not for them we would all be up a creek without a paddle. Each and every one of them has been with the company a good long while and they know what to expect and are usually on top of things. They earn their living under great amounts of stress with a good amount of people turning to them for much needed assistance and are usually in a hurry!
Hoop Earrings
I don’t know what it is about a woman wearing large hoop earrings that is such a turn on. If a woman has a nice long neck a pair of silver ones can be a nice accent, but on a short neck, ugh, you don’t want to go there.
