Help is On the Way for E.D.
Sometimes life can be a bit cruel to men. Especially when it comes down to the question of our manhood and its sudden, or perhaps even not so sudden, ability to “rise to the occasion”, so to speak. This condition, known as, “erectile dysfunction” has become more and more common among older men like myself as well as younger men whom one would never even fathom having trouble in that arena. And no man wants to have to say to his partner of the evening, “this has never happened to me before”.With the medical advances made in the field of erectile dysfunction, men now have a way to properly address the problem. The most known of the medications available to correct the problem that really can be rather devastating to a relationship, is Viagra. It was the first FDA approved pill to treat ED. Viagra can take effect in as little as fourteen minutes and works in most men regardless of their age or for how long they’ve had ED. Another orally taken, FDA approved, treatment for erectile dysfunction would be “Levitra”. Taken 30 to 60 minutes before engaging in sexual activity. For some men Levitra may work when other ED treatments do not.
Now we come to my personal favorite of the most frequently used treatments for ED. And that would be “Cialis”. One of the reasons I like Cialis is that it is the only erectile dysfunction treatment clinically proven to last upwards to 36 hours! That is enough time to allow for a bit more spontaneity. As with all medications for ED they work by increasing the blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. And as you don’t need to take it with food, and it takes effect in about 30 minutes or so its easier to fit dosing into your busy schedule, again, allowing for events to be more spontaneous.
Traveling Nurses
I had the pleasure of meeting a nice young lady this week who has really got me interested in getting to know much better. She is a traveling nurse, but tries to stay as local as possible, with out having to go out of state much for her travel nurse jobs.
I’ve called her and left a message, inviting her over for the Super Bowl tomorrow, wasn’t surprised to get her voice mail, since she is most likely working. She has been a nurse, in a private practice for many years and decided to see more of the world and went to work in the travel nursing field, working for one of the few travel nursing agencies, just last year and seems to really love it.
She is full of energy, this one is, I can certainly see why she wouldn’t be happy stuck in an office all day, this type of work seems to fit her personality and lifestyle much better. I tell you what, if I was ever in the need of a personal nurse, she would be at the top of the list to call, and I hope that I hear from her soon. Even if she can’t make it for the game, maybe I can talk her into dinner and a movie when she is available and not traveling around trying to take care of everyone.
Cottage Cheese
I have a new found appreciation for cottage cheese! I’ve always liked my cottage cheese and I’ve put all sorts of fruits in it from time to time to sort of liven up the flavor a bit. Not that I don’t like it plain, I actually prefer it plain, but every once in a while I just have to have that little extra bit of flavor. Usually for breakfast or even a late evening snack, I’d add a few bits of fruit such as blueberries or sliced peaches or strawberries. But tonight I tried it with vegetables mixed in!
Yes sir I did. I started with just a few pieces of lettuce and some shredded carrot. I liked it, so I tried some a little later with some of those cherry tomatoes cut in half and some bean sprouts sprinkled in. I was hooked. Now I can enjoy my cottage cheese that much more, a healthy food choice for once!
Dining Room China Cabinet
It looks like I’m in now the market for some new dining room furniture, to be specific, a new China Cabinet. Last night I went into my current piece to get some glasses and noticed that the glass was a little shaky and before I knew it, the wood that was holding it came apart and the glass came tumbling down. What a mess, not a good way to start the week end, especially since it is Super Bowl Sunday, tomorrow and I have a lot to do now before the festivities start. I cleaned up most of the mess late last night, but there is still a lot to do to get the place in order for tomorrow.
I’ve started my search this morning at various websites that sell Dining Tables and the like and have located a nice looking one that would look good in that room, and it is currently on sale. Looks good wouldn’t you agree?
China Cabinet
I never thought that I would have to find a new China Cabinet, but I’m glad that the Internet is available to make the task easier. I really like the Dining Table and chairs that match this fine looking china cabinet and just might decide on purchasing the whole set.
A Quote from Dr. Phil
He comes up with some pretty interesting sayings, some are pretty much “Out There” but some times they are worth their weight in gold, such as today’s:
“You wouldn’t worry so much what people thought of you, if you knew how seldom they did.”
A good thought to ponder, wouldn’t you say?
