Comedy Central and their roastings

I love the Comedy Central Roasts they are generally a good time, at least most of the time, I’ve enjoyed all of the others a bit more than the most recent one that was held for Bob Saget. The panel they had definitely left me wanting more.  John Stamos was funnier than most of the comedians, and I wasn’t even familiar with most of them to start with.

I do believe that the next time that they want to make a “Star” feel like and look like an idiot would be a lot better if they got a better panel, and I’ll be sure to check in the next time I see an ad for their attempts of roasting with comedy to see if they have upgraded or not.

Living on relaxing “Mexican Time”

San Miguel de Allende sounds like the perfect place to take a special lady that I have in mind, that I enjoy traveling with for a nice get-a-way, that I am definitely over due for.

I’ve been looking around on line as of late and have found an extremely useful web-site called Sanmigueldeallendemexico.com, which has described San Miguel de Allende as a magical mix of history, culture, architecture, art, and beauty. It has all the information needed for hotels, restaurants and activities, and is packed with practical information and even a discussion board.  And as discussion board’s go, this one is top notch and actually has made a big difference in my decision makings for this much anticipated trip to one of the top tourist destinations in the world.

I have never been one to enjoy the cold weather, so I try not to go anywhere that the temperatures go below the 70′s, and I have read that San Miguel de Allende has spring like weather all year round, even in the winter months the days are warm and only on a rare occasion will they experience a rare frost at night. This is my kind of weather that they are talking about here.

I am taking the advice given on this web-site and am going to order a copy of Archie Dean’s ”The Insiders Guide to San Miguel”, which is supposed to offer the best information on where to go, what to see, where to eat, and where to lay your head for a mere $15.

I’m becoming excited about this trip, it is time to enjoy and relax where life is a little slower, while living on some quality “Mexican Time”.

 

Gemstones, Healing Crystals, Minerals and the like

My niece that I speak of from time to time is very interested in fossils, rocks, gems, crystals and the like. She has a large extensive collection that continues to grow quickly due in large part to her father’s dealings in the local flea market that has yielded a good amount of her specimens. And years of birthdays and Christmas’s presents usually provide her with new and exciting items that she keeps finding room in her all ready very crowded display cases that are jam packed with some awesome looking pieces that she is so very proud of.

A recent email from her included a link to a web-site of Divinecrystals.com.au, that she has discovered on line, that she is excited about and she wanted to share with me. Divine Crystals offers unique gemstones, crystals, minerals and some pretty interesting new age gifts. It seems that my niece is interested in Healing Crystals and has found this web-site to be very useful. She tells me that they offer FREE Expert Advice, where you can ask a crystal expert a question on line, which she apparently has a good amount lined up for the asking, as she was taught that the only dumb question is the question not asked.

I did take a look around the site and I can certainly see why she is so happy to find it, I’m sure that it will be a useful tool for her to use. I do believe that I will look a bit deeper into it come Christmas time, I’m sure I’ll be able to find her something that will tickle her fancy with the variety of products that they have to offer!

 

My newest Novel read

There is nothing like a good novel to sit down with and really sink your teeth into and I have just finished one that was totally worth the journey and I’m actually sad to see it come to an end. Brethren, is an epic adventure of the Knights Templar, written by Robyn Young, that was very well written. The characters were extremely convincing in a time of conspiracy and war, concerning the discovery of a secret society within the Knights Templar, by a young knight who ends up fighting for his life trying to recover a stolen book from the Order’s vaults.

I am in hopes of a sequel and will keep an eager eye out for on in the near future.
