Karaoke Night

A few of my buddies and their dames came on over to my place last night and we ended up having a one heck of a good time catching up with one another, and playing a few drinking games we used to play back in my day. We played Rummy, Kings, Bar Head, Qaurters, and Dice ‘em, but also ended up singing Karaoke all night long in my living room, drunker than ever but it was a great old’ time.

 I never knew I could still sing as well as I once used to, from what I remember anyway, and I have now decided to find the game for PlayStation called American Idol Karaoke that everyone has been talking about, I don’t care if it’s meant for younger adults, I’m still a kid at heart and ready for another round of Karaoke, what do ya say fellas?

Home Improvement

I had been wanting to improve the outside of my home, since the inside was finally organized and clean completely, so I had been searching around on the Internet for some ideas on how to accomplish the improvement on the outside of my house. When I contacted contractorsusa.info, they had gotten in contact with a few different vinyl siding companies that had been prescreened and qualified in my town that offered me a written free estimate for my home repairs that I wanted done, which I found to be a lot easier then to go out and figure it out yourself. Contractorsusa.info also listed references including names and phone numbers of their other satisfied customers, and have heard nothing but great things about this company, and have experienced nothing but excellent services from this wonderful company.

Clutter Mess

I had stayed up for a real long amount of time last night and seemed to get a ton accomplished and out of the way. I have a huge load of stuff i haven’t gone through since probably 1997, and had found some really interesting antiques and old collectibles that I wanted to keep around for a bit longer, and quit a few things that I’m going to get rid of hopefully in my next yard sale. I was just tired of my house looking like a pack rat’s house, so I thought it was definitely time to clean up, and organize. My house looks very nice now, with absolutely no clutter mess to be found, I feel like a new man!

All types of web-sites I have bookmarked on my old laptop

Niagara Rents has a good website dedicated to both the tenant and the landlord, in an effort to provide information on all types of rental properties not only in the beautiful Niagara area, but parts of Canada also. I came across this site some time back when I was looking around at some rentals for a friend of mine who was relocating to the Niagara area, and had it bookmarked and neatly filed away with tons of other sites worth saving.

While transferring information from my old laptop to my newly purchased one, I am coming across plenty of sites like this one that I had forgotten all about, bookmarked years ago and never went back to. It has been interesting looking at some of thing, wondering more than once, why I had ever bookmarked it in the first place.

Upon entering the website of Niagararents.com, I noticed right off that they had made some changes, it is a bit easier to move around in, a new rental mapping system, a good selection of nice photos and best of all, it is still free of charge. A good site to keep in mind and bookmarked once again, in my new laptop.

Out with old, in with the new

I have spent a good amount of time today on my new laptop, trying to get everything loaded and registered and all that goes along with the setting up and getting used to a new piece of technology. I’m impressed with all of the new features that my old one was seriously lacking, and I figure that it will take some time to get them all figured out and getting myself up to speed with it all.

The one major issue that I’m having to deal with is that I keep losing my Internet connection, which is a real pain in the rear, and I can’t seem to figure out why. Come the first of the month I won’t be feeling comfortable in paying all of my monthly bills online if I can’t keep a connection going, so it looks like I will need to call on a friend or two that hopefully will be able to help me fix this one very important problem.
