Ninjutsu Lessons – a good and positive move for my niece

My brother and his wife have gotten my favorite niece into taking Ninjutsu lessons and they tell me that she is enjoying it immensely and shows promise in keeping an interest in this Japanese type of Martial Arts. She has only been taking these lessons for a little over 2 months and has just last night earned her green belt and can finally put away the bright white belt that all beginners are keenly aware of the “newbie” status that it implies.

I have taken the time and looked on the Internet and found a web-site that specializes in Martial Arts Equipment and have found a book that speaks of The Ninjutsu: History and Tradition, that I am thinking of ordering for her as one of her several Christmas presents that I will take over to her this year. She is an awesome kid and I adore spoiling her at every chance that I get. She does like to read, thank goodness, because so many kids these days hate even the idea of picking up a book, so I feel comfortable in giving her some type of book or two every Christmas, along with other items that she has on the top of her Christmas wish list each and every year, and she always counts on that tradition between the two of us since her very first Christmas experience.
