The view from window in Vegas was great in the daylight, too. This is the shot I took from the same window, the morning after.
Notice the mountain ridge in the background? There is snow along the top of the peaks, even in the summer.
There is always a haze along the ridge now. In fact, you see a brown smog haze lingering throughout the city as your plane approaches the airport. The air is always dirty now. The price of progress I suppose.
The air pollution and heat are two reasons I like the night views of Las Vegas best.
