Awesome Technology for Our Elderly & Disabled
With so many people living alone with a disability and the numerous senior citizens that are still able to live in their own homes, medical alerts are a great technology that has come about in the past decade or so. These monitoring systems are now able to be utilized in so many positive ways, not limited to a button to press for assistant. You can have them programed to give you a reminder to take medicines and smoke detector. And if you fall and can’t push the help button you can utilize the fall detector. All good positive roles to play for many people.
I’d like to see my great aunt Dolly get a Life Alert. She is close to 100 years old and still insists on living alone in the house that she spent the majority of her life in. It would make us all feel better if she had a Life Alert. The subject does come up every now and then, maybe one day she’ll consider it, stranger things have been known to happen in this family.
