We have been experiencing some computer hassles with our work stations. This has been going on for some time and word is that they are looking into getting a new IBM as400 system before the end of the year. We’ve been hearing about budget cut backs and gripes that a new system wasn’t put into the budget for several years so it will be a miracle to witness this event.
Having a well working computer system is a must in any business. In a world that has tried so hard to become a paperless world we are relying more and more on our computers each and every day. At least we have a good tech support team that has a sense of humor and the patience of the saints above. If it were not for them we would all be up a creek without a paddle. Each and every one of them has been with the company a good long while and they know what to expect and are usually on top of things. They earn their living under great amounts of stress with a good amount of people turning to them for much needed assistance and are usually in a hurry!
