PeekYou.com, a new kind of white pages for find people

A few month back I received an email from my niece that I correspond with fairly regularly, about a people search engine that she had found and was very interested in, called PeekYou.com, which has over 140 million people all ready listed. She had spent a good amount of time on this web-site seeing who was listed with them that she knew and sent an email to everyone that she didn’t find listed, asking them to please sign up, with their information, with PeekYou.com and their evergrowing listings that can be filtered in many ways, to find the correct listing match. You can search by way of photos, numerous tags, relatives, biographies, and course the usual name, address and phone numbers.

So I took the time to look my name up and wasn’t surprised to see that I was not listed and I figured what the heck, I mean it is totally a new kind of white pages, but I’m cool with having my name out there, and I went ahead and filled out my profile information, it only took a few moments. I have  nothing to hide and who knows somebody from my past certainly could look me up and an old friendship could be rekindled due to this listing. I haven’t been on the Internet for all that long, so I’m pretty sure that if someone was trying to locate me and couldn’t (for some reason) find me on this blog, I’m not sure how many search engines would show my name. I have no reason to believe that this blog domain will expire, but one never knows what the future holds, for anyone of us.
