Black Friday

I myself have never gotten up in the middle of the night, bundled up in warm clothes, to stand in line with a ton of other people so that I could fight my way into the doors, that open at 5:00am on Black Friday at numerous retail stores across the country, in order to save some money on merchandise. Which would most likely be used as Christmas gifts.  And I can’t see why people would drag their young babies and children along through the whole ordeal. Makes no sense to me at all, and what a major headache that must be for all concerned.

Don’t get me wrong, saving money is a huge deal and especially right around the holiday season, but there has got to be a better way to handle the Black Friday situation. Every year we hear stories on how people have gotten hurt during the mad rush, one year the big story was on how a woman and her baby, which was in a baby stroller at the time, were crushed in a stampede into K-Mart! Now that is totally insane.

So I am very glad to have heard about a web-site called Black-friday.net, that is full of black friday ads that are offering Black Friday savings on line, with out having to go out into the cold and deal with all of this nonsense that some people actually seem to enjoy. This site also offers email alerts that will inform you of new ads being placed online for you to check out. I really like this concept and I’ll definitely look into it a little deeper once the time gets a bit closer, and that is only a few months away come to think about it.
