Father’s Day is fast approaching over in the “land down under”

Gift Ideas are being tossed about over in Australia right now, due to the fact that Father’s Day is about to be celebrated over there soon, while our 2008 Father’s Day has come and gone already. The Internet is used just as much overseas as it is here in the States, and it was good hearing from an old friend via email, who has been living in the land “down under” for most of his adult life now, while the rest of his family is still living back here in America.

My buddy was telling me of his effort to get his Dad the perfect Fathers Day gift for this year’s celebrating of Father’s Day, his Dad is in very poor health hence, he is struggling to find something special this year, he is assuming that this may well be his Dad’s last year on this earth due to severe cancer issues.

His Dad is an avid Fisherman and he has found a web-site that has a gift that he found that he wishes that he had found and been able to give to his Dad years ago, a book titled “Fifty Places To Fish, Before You Die“, but obviously it wouldn’t be appropriate these days. My Dad is into fishing also and I would like to order this book for him, I should get it in plenty of time to give it to him for our version of Father’s Day 2009! I’ll have to look around some of our American on line book companies and see if I can find it.
