We have noticed a lot of people have been trading down homes and living conditions (and a good amount have people have simply lost their homes due to foreclosures), plus a good amount of companies are certainly going for less and less. It seems that America is in a giant trade down phase.There are many costs when it comes to trading down, however sometimes trading down is trading up for your life. It’s necessary at times, but sometimes people get into worse situations when they trade down. Think of all of the people in Louisiana that left flooded homes filled with mold only to be locked up into homes that contained highly toxic off-gassing fumes.
I hope that people will learn much from this time of life and we will decide collectively to make better homes in the future, and much more affordable ones as well.
