We all know that one of the best ways to get information on just about anything is by utilizing the Internet. Hard to believe that we managed to exist at all without it just a few short decades ago. I know back in the 80′s that I never dreamed of how I could and would rely on a computer on a daily basis, as the majority of us do these days, for help in so many ways.
I have a close and dear friend who is totally dependent on the Internet for looking into The Orchid Recovery Center for Women. She has been battling drug and alcohol addiction most of her life and just can’t seem to get the right type of help for her individual needs. She has been reading The Orchid Center Charity Blog that she found online and has been emailing me a few things about it here and there. She knows that I will do anything that I can to help support her in her effort to beat this monkey that she has been carrying on her back since before I even knew her back in college.
The Orchid Recovery Center specializes and focuses on women and their addiction issues, which is a whole different ball game from the male side of the coin. She is a single mother with 2 young kids to deal with and to consider along the way. I don’t know how she has managed to do what she has done so far. I’m glad that I can be there for her however I can manage to be.
